Mary Dancey is an award-winning interior decorating and design professional with over 21 years of experience, specializing in kitchen and bath design. Known for her thoughtful, functional, and elegant spaces, Mary brings a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise to every project she undertakes.

A graduate of Humber College’s Interior Decorating program and Georgian College’s Post-Graduate Kitchen and Bath Design program, Mary is also a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS)—demonstrating her commitment to designing accessible, future-ready spaces that promote safety, independence, and lasting comfort.

Mary’s work has been recognized by both the Decorators & Designers Association of Canada (DDA) and the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), earning her multiple industry awards for design excellence. Her deep passion for kitchen and bath design is evident in every detail of her work—from space planning and material selection to the finishing touches that bring a space to life.

In addition to her thriving design career, Mary is a faculty member at Georgian College, teaching in the very same Post-Graduate Kitchen and Bath Design program she once graduated from. She plays a vital role in shaping and mentoring the next generation of kitchen and bath professionals, sharing her knowledge, experience, and passion for the industry with future designers.
